How we find and check this
We're a few graduates who lived in the UK for years and now work in travel in China. The practical answers visitors need are often only on Chinese websites and apps, so we bring them together in plain English.
Where it comes from
919 sources for 50 places, 464 of them official or government pages. Every fact on a place page links to its source.
How we check
1. Collect: search official pages and Chinese platforms for each place.
2. Compare: where sources differ, show both and use the more cautious one.
3. Write: short English answers that keep their source link and the date read.
4. Review: a separate pass; anything unconfirmed says "not found yet".
How often
Every place shows when its sources were last read; every source keeps its publication date; notices carry start and end dates and expire.
